Do I pay by the hour or get one flat price?

Either works. Small local moves usually go on the hourly rate — $128 for two movers, $182 for three — but ask and we'll write a flat figure for the whole job instead.

Is there a minimum charge?

There's a one-hour minimum on local jobs. After that first hour we bill in shorter increments, so you only pay for the time your move actually takes.

What comes with the hourly rate?

The truck, the crew, and all the moving blankets, shrink-wrap, dollies and wardrobe boxes. Beds and tables get taken apart and rebuilt at no extra charge.

Can you move a single heavy item, like a piano or gun safe?

On our end: The freight-elevator slot and a clear length of curb both get arranged with building management and the city well beforehand, so on the day the truck backs up to your entrance instead of sitting half a street away.

Where you help: Settle the two dates — out of the old place, into the new one — and give us whichever one leaves less wiggle room.

Everything gets wrapped and padded

On our end: Blankets cover every piece, upholstery is shrink-wrapped, and bed frames and table legs come apart into bags tagged with their own hardware.

Where you help: Mark each carton with the room it’s headed to, and keep papers, keys and small valuables with you, not on the truck.

Load out, drive, unload and final walk-through

On our end: Whoever loads your things is the same team that carries them back in at the other end — each piece set down where you direct, bed frames reassembled, and every scrap of used packing hauled off when we go.

Where you help: Walk the place with the crew lead before the truck pulls off, while anything still not right costs you nothing to fix.
