These terms cover your use of the UW Moving website and the moving services we provide from Fort Pierce, FL. Booking a move or requesting an estimate means you agree to what follows.
Estimates and pricing
Quotes are based on the details you give us — home size, access, distance, and date. Local work is billed hourly at $128 for two movers or $182 for three, with a one-hour minimum. A final figure is confirmed once we’ve reviewed the job.
Your part
- Give accurate information about your home, inventory, and access
- Arrange parking and elevator time where a building requires it
- Keep cash, documents, and small valuables with you, not on the truck
Liability and coverage
Released-value protection of $0.60 per pound is included at no charge, with full-value coverage available on request. Claims must be filed within the applicable window — nine months for interstate moves. We’re licensed and insured under Florida intrastate authority plus US DOT and MC authority.
Scheduling and cancellations
We hold your date once it’s booked. If plans change, let us know as early as you can so we can free the slot for another family and, where possible, move you to a new date.
Changes
We may update these terms as our services change. Questions? Call (888) 278-9005.
